Queen's Carpet Care's Tips on Stain Removal

When something is spilled on your carpet, removal results are best when treatment is immediate, before the stain can set. It is best not to spray household cleaning products on your carpet, and sponging with water will dilute stains, but may spread them further. Instead, Queen's Carpet Care suggests wetting a white cloth, getting it as hot as you can. Apply it to the stain, and cover with a second hot, wet cloth. Allow them to sit for awhile. When you remove them, If the stain is gone, allow to dry and then gently brush to restore the pile. If the stain is not gone, repeat the process.
